By accessing or using the Arden platform and website ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
Arden provides a policy enforcement and human-approval layer for AI agent tool calls. The Service includes an SDK (ardenpy), a REST API, a management dashboard, and supporting infrastructure for logging, webhook delivery, and human-in-the-loop approvals.
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must provide accurate information when registering. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
You agree not to:
You retain ownership of all data you submit to the Service, including agent configurations, policy rules, and action logs. You grant Arden a limited licence to store, process, and transmit your data solely to provide the Service.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to submit data to the Service, including any data about your end users that may be included in tool call arguments.
During the beta period, the Service is provided free of charge up to the stated usage limits (currently 10,000 actions per month per account). Arden reserves the right to change pricing, introduce paid tiers, or modify usage limits at any time with reasonable notice.
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and remain the exclusive property of Arden. The ardenpy SDK is open source and governed by its licence on GitHub.
Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use Arden's name, logo, or trademarks without our prior written consent.
We aim to provide a reliable Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service is provided "as is" during the beta period. We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or interruptions.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. ARDEN DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE SECURE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR ERROR-FREE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ARDEN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ARDEN HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL ARDEN'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO ARDEN IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Arden and its team from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Arden reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to the Service or other users.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If you have a dispute, please contact us at team@arden.sh before taking any formal action.
